It’s been always my dream to be a part of Olympic Games since my childhood days and on 28 August 2014 I might have a chance to realize my dream to be part of great Olympic Movement. On that day, Rio 2016 started the volunteers recruitment process and I decided this is the time for me to fight to realize my dream. I applied as Rio 2016 volunteers and my volunteer journey to Rio 2016 was begun. Prior that day, I have been part of core volunteers for the 28th Southeast Asian Games Singapore 2015 that gave me more confidence to apply Rio 2016 volunteers programme.
At end of October, the second stage of my Rio 2016 Volunteer Journey “Online Dynamics” was commenced. The “Online Dynamics” was created to give an opportunity to volunteers to learn the values of the Rio 2016 Games and experience a little more closely some situations that could happen during the Games.
It’s a multiple choices questions. There is no right and wrong answers. Every answers would determine the friendship and inspiration point. I scored 77 points on Friendship and 100 points on Inspiration.
In December, I did my third stage “Language Leveling”. The test checked my grammar, listening and reading skills. I got an upper intermediate level.
