24 August was my last day in the Olympic Village. Upon checked-in in the workforce area, I received a commemorate certificate and an “obrigado” pin from IOC. Obrigado means thank you in Portuguese. I returned my operational phone to NCS team which they gave it to me on the first day of my delegation arriving day.
On the same day I also received the “Thank you” email from Rio 2016 in my email inbox.
A couple days later, which was on 27 August I received my certificate of participation in my email inbox.
Obrigado Rio for this opportunity to fulfill my Olympic Dream to take part in Olympic Games as NOC Assistant volunteer. It’s really a privilege for me to work at the Rio 2016, the first Olympic Games in the South America.
